*Where are you from? Tell us a bit about yourself.
I was born in Hungary. I studied and worked there. I have two daughters (Sári and Krisztina) and two diplomas (social worker and economist). We lived in a capital and enjoyed a busy life of the city. We moved to the Netherlands 6 years ago, while my husband got his number 1 job. I started to learn how I can make pottery.

*How did you decide on your shop name? Why did you start your business?
It is important for me the easy association to the ceramic, that this my product. Other sides, I mostly make small size items, because they're easy to send safely.
The creativity was always a part of my life. I made lots of handmade things for my family and friends as a gift. I really wanted to challenge myself and open my own business.

*What are 5 things you want people to think when they see your product?
I like simple things, nice shapes, shiny, bright colors and interesting surfaces. I want to believe, people think the same. I want to go my own way, use some special idea to make a difference between ceramic shops. This is a big challenge, because there are lots of talented artists on Etsy.

*What’s your supply addiction; is there a specific color or type of supply you just can’t pass up?
I love colors. It does not matter, patchwork, embroidery, knitting, silk painting, glass painting or ceramic, I always try to find special harmony between the colors.

*What do you do when you’re not being an artist? What activities do you enjoy?
I'm a chairman of the local International Ladies Club. We organize lots of activities for our members and participate at different Charity Projects.
Holland is a paradise for cycling. If the weather is nice, my husband and I'll make a long tour exploring the beautiful countryside.

*Which item in your shop did you enjoy making the most and why?
Of course all my brain cells focus on creating a new collection. That is the reason, my favorite is always changing but I'm sure, my favorite part is the decoration. Painting is filing me up with positive energy.

*What keeps you motivated?
Our town is full with galleries and small shops. If I walk to the city center, I'll check the new things and a new trends. This is my basic. I use the Internet for specific search and I can find always a lots of motivations. The most important for me the Team Members and Team Games. If I have a sale, I'll have more energy and motivation, than ever before!

*If you could give a piece of advice to a new shop - what would it be?
First of all join to a Team, read a lot about success, be active in promotions, make treasuries and be patient. I believe in the good products and the good photographs. Don't forget the good service!!!

So interesting to read about teammates :) when you interact with person on Etsy a lot, you get some kind of mental picture about this person and it is so interesting to read more about her :)
My mom is obsessed with this shop - she admires so many things there that I can't even chose what to buy for her :) she wants everything from there :)

I love Lidi's items. I visit her shop on a regular basis to see what is new. It is hard to only select one item when you like all of them. I love her color choices and her whimsical designs. Be sure to stop by and enjoy her talent.
