The event is going to be called the PCF TEAM'S "2012" Spring Tracks Flip Flop Scavenger Hunt. This event will be a spring/summer themed scavenger hunt, in which people will have to browse through items in the shops (the ones that have signed up and donated for the event), to find a PCF TEAM "Flip Flop" pic. They will start at a certain shop...each shop they finish (meaning they have found the flip flop pic in that shop), when they go to the item description in the item where the pic is located, they will find a link to take them directly to the next shop on the list!
We are doing it this way, so that EVERY SINGLE shop that signs up and donates to this event, will get the same amount of exposure and promotion! When the "hunters" have completed finding the flip flop pic in the very last shop, they will find Nichole's email address in that item description. They will have to email her a list of all the shops where they found flip flop pics, from start to finish, in the correct order, to be entered to win a prize pack! If they have anything wrong, she will email them, and let them know that their entry is not valid, and allow them to try again to complete the event!
Everyone who sends a complete shop list, in the correct order, will receive one entry to win a prize pack. If they "fave" the shops as they go through (they have to fave every single shop), then they get another entry. If they "fave" one item from each shop as they go through (again, they have to fave an item from every single shop), then they will get a third entry. If they share the shops' item (again every one of them) on their facebook or twitter (they must send Nichole the links so she can verify they have done so)...they can gain 1-2 more entries to win a prize pack! If they blog about the team event, and send her a link to it, they get 5 extra entries! So, they have the opportunity to receive a total of 10 entries to win a prize pack in total!
The event will run for 1 week, allowing a lot of people to be able to join in, but yet not making the event run too long. The event will start at noon on Tuesday April 17th, 2012, and will end at midnight on April 24, 2012. All entries must be submitted by midnight on the 17th to be valid! Nichole will send the pic to be used in the scavenger hunt (flip flops), at 8:00 am the morning of the 10th...this ensures that no pics get posted early, and no "hunters" have a chance to get an early start! I made a nice promotion pic to post everywhere though...just convo Nichole or Audrey to get it! :) You can also copy/paste the code found under the button here to add to your blog.
