*Where are you from?
I am from a very small farming community in Pennsylvania. I have been surrounded by farms my whole life until recently. Now I am a resident of Bristol, Rhode Island, making a new start.
*How did you decide on your shop name?
My shop name came about from friends, that thought I should have a corner shop, that would feature my 'Wonders'.
*Why did you start your business?
I started my little business out of a need to do something to help me provide for my children and also keep me home with them. So far, it has been working! I am so thankful that I do not have to leave my children to go to work.
*What are 5 things you want people to think when they see your product?
1. Warm
2. Quality
3. Home made, lots of work put into it
4. Unique
5. Love - I Love all my items and I hope others will love them, too!
*Do you have a supply addiction; is there a specific color or type of supply you just can’t pass up?
I have many supply addictions! All stemming from wool, whether it is hand painted, yarn, or roving, I have an itch to work with it. But my newest addiction would have to be knitting with my hand spun yarn.
*What do you do when you’re not creating? What activities do you enjoy?
I love to cook! Teaching my kids the in's and out's of the kitchen. Spending time with family. Otherwise I am creating! I knit, crochet or spin for at least 8+ hours a day. *If you could give a piece of advice to a new shop - what would it be?
Dream big and keep Dreaming... Don't let anything stop you from what you love to do. If things aren't working one way, try a different avenue, but don't give up. There are to many people in the world doing stuff they don't want to do because they think they CAN"T do what they love to do. Believe you can and you will.
*Are there other places on the net we can find you?
