Loustudio - Beautiful Paper

*Where are you from? Tell us a bit about yourself.
I was born and raised in Rockford IL . I love it here partly because I grew up here and it is home. We are close to Chicago when we want city life and Wisconsin is a beautiful green place we love to visit .

*How did you decide on your shop name? Why did you start your business?
My shop name is the same as when I was a shopper on etsy. I love to shop etsy for all the wonderful one of a kind and unique items. I decided to open up my little shop to support my rubber stamping and card making hobby. When I began selling I couldn't change the name . I could change it now but it has grown on me and I have regular customers I don't want to lose. So Loustudio I remain.

*What are 5 things you want people to think when they see your product?
Five things I want customers to think

 1- creative style
2- great quality
3- unique products
4-inspired to create something
5- that they want to return

*What’s your supply addiction; is there a specific color or type of supply you just can’t pass up?
My favorite supplies are #1 - designer papers, buttons and card stock

*Which item in your shop did you enjoy making the most and why?
Had the most fun creating these up cycled die cuts. I think my corrugated die cuts are my best sellers because they are so fun to play with, paint, stain, spray ,glitter . I really enjoy making them out of recycled coffee sleeves which would other wise end up in the trash.

*What keeps you motivated?
Challenges on Etsy threads and blogs keep me motivated to create some thing new. When I need a little inspiration I love to browse pinterest, and read my back issues of crafting magazines.

*If you could give a piece of advice to a new shop - what would it be?
My best piece of advise to new sellers ~ do what you love , promote your self via Etsy teams and have fun!

*Are there other places on the net we can find you?

Nice to get to know you a little better! You have a wonderful shop! I especially liked what you said in your advice - to have fun -if we don't do that, it just turns into more "work" doesn't it! Thanks for sharing!
